Virginia Garcia Ovejero

Professional broadcaster with over 20 years of radio and TV experience. EMMY nominee of the National Academy of Television and Arts in 2005 for her job as producer of a soft news report, “Journalists of Tomorrow”, MARCONI nominee 2008. Ms. Garcia has worked at Univision in Denver, Colorado as a weather anchor, producer, reporter and writer.

Her charisma allowed her to reach personalities interviewed one-to-one such as: Diego Armando Maradona, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Chayanne, Laura Pausini,Yannick Noah, Carlos Saul Menem, Gypsy Kings, Elvis Crespo, La Ley and Jaguares among others. Her international career also indicates being a correpondant for FM Cero in Chile, CBS in Melbourne,Australia and other FM radio stations of Brazil. She also works as a free-lance writer and covered the National Democratic Convention for “Los Angeles Times” (Latino section).
